79. Resident Waiter

One thing that amazes me about dining out is the seemingly unlimited number of empty plates a waiter or waitress can hold on his or her hand while cleaning up the table. Then, it occurred to me that I should practice this at home as well, not to challenge the professionals, but simply to speed up cleaning up the dinner table as well. With some practice, I have more than doubled the number of empty plates and bowls I can carry at one time and I feel pretty good about being our own "resident waiter". Now the next challenge is to secure a good tip from Ms. Diver.
