鄉土氣息 加州集會


寫下“鄉土氣息，加州集會”自己也笑了，這已經是我第三次用同樣的題目。大家說起加州，想到的是她綿延的海岸，好萊塢的燈火闌珊，矽穀的弄潮兒，熱鬧的舊金山，洛杉磯，聖地亞哥。

同時，加州是農業大戶，進入加州腹地，看到大片果園，菜田，葡萄園，風吹草低見牛羊。從1854年起，每年舉辦的加州集會(Califonia State Fair)就showcase這些豐收景象和淳樸的手工藝品。

今年加州集會挪到七月後兩周在加州首府舉辦，我們夏天日程排得很緊，從加拿大回來沒幾天就上路去南加。聽說孩子們爺爺又有作品入選加州集會，他也在畫廊廳做義務講解員，怎麽也得去看看給他捧個場。我特別喜愛的是布藝被子，青少年作品展廳，每每仰視，流連忘返，羨慕不已。走吧，一起去趕集~~~

When people think of California, they talk about the forever coastline, glamorous Hollywood, high-tech silicon valley, gorgeous cities of San Francisco, LA, San Diego...

If you had a chance to explore the inlands, you will find lots of hidden jewels amongst the wine country, the vegetable and fruit basket of the country, as well as the farm animals grazing grassland.

Since 1854, California State Fair has showcased its bounty in a "down to earth way", let's go to the fair and have some fun!
