Exactly.

Cook is confusing effect with cause, and this is only one of her key approaches that does so. Even the smoothness/fastness in my recordings is not achieved by practicing her assignments, but rather other excercises and practices. When it comes to accent, nothing can be achieved by forcing it. 

I just feel obliged to correct my own mistake in public since I had recommended her book here in this forum over and over again for quite a while. This post was to support my earlier comments on her methods and book.

Don't worry. She only gave me a harder time than I necessarily had to go through, and wasted some of my time which could have been wasted somewhere else. It's no big deal.
