Learn Two Words: Crest & Crescent

You probably know these two words already: crest and crescent. I thought I did, too, until the other day when I had to explain to someone the crescent shape but was not sure which was the exact word. In the end, I had to resort to some lengthy explanation of what it was and luckily it worked. Hope you know better!
