If you were in those unemployed's shoes, you might feel happy that you have a job even though you have to work in the weekend.

 

have a good mind to do something   (informal)

if you say you have a good mind to do something, especially to punish someone, you mean that you would like to do it, and might do it, although you probably will not I have a good mind to report you to the headmaster for playing truant.
 
have a good mind or have half a mind
If you have a good mind or have half a mind to do something, you have a feeling that you want to do it, especially because you are angry or annoyed, but you will probably not do it.
I have a good mind to go over there and tell him to be quiet. I have half a mind to tell her what I really think of her.
