my company structure is 2 levels of LLC. I wrote

off meals (business related) and milage only in the top level LLC. I do not wrote off meals on the subsidiary LLCs that physically holds properties. Currently those write-offs are carried over to next years since I never able to make a profit under the general accounting practice.
