won't happen. 40% is an extreme case. 20% is more likely. If NVDA drops 20% from 100 to 80, NVDL will drop 40% from 50 (ratio is 52% NVDL/NVDA right now, let's make it simple to 50) to 30. Later, NVDA appreciate 25% to 100. NVDL appreciate 50% to 45. It lost $5 on $50, which is 10%, pretty close to 11% time decay on the premium. If it does the corrections several times, it seems LEAP is better now.
