OVERVIEW
CoreCivic is the nation's largest owner of partnership correctional, detention, and residential reentry facilities and one of the largest prison operators in the US. The company provides fundamental residential services and a variety of rehabilitation and educational programs including basic education, faith-based services, and substance abuse treatment, to name a few. Through its CoreCivic Safety segment, it has nearly 45 correctional and detention facilities which it owns or manages for federal, state, and local government agencies. Federal clients account for over 50% of revenue. The company also owns properties for lease to third parties and used by government agencies through CoreCivic Properties and provides several non-residential correctional alternative services, including electronic monitoring and case management services through CoreCivic Community.
