On the first weekend of the month of July, hundreds of wild horses are rounded up, trimmed and groomed in different villages in the Spanish northwestern region of Galicia.

Tariq Khdeir (R) is greeted by his mother after being released from jail in Jerusalem. An Israeli judge released the 15-year-old American of Palestinian descent from jail and placed under house arrest. Khdeir was detained and beaten by Israeli police in East Jerusalem. Khdeir, from Tampa, Florida, is a cousin of Mohammed Abu Khudeir, 16, whose abduction and killing in Jerusalem sparked violent protests and calls from Palestinians for a new uprising against Israel.
