海上遊戈烏拉圭，船行夜半難入睡。

晴晨早起待下船，旅遊巴士岸頭催。

牧業小國三百萬，立國憲政二百歲。

獨立廣場聳雕像，鬧市中心總統羸。

 

一屆世賽足球場，數強掛靴來打擂。

登高遠望全市景，古老街道樹蔭佩。

落座街頭棚餐廳，羊排燒肉沙拉脆。

國會大廈堅石砌，太陽劇院藝術萃。

 

Note: Montevideo, the Capital city of Uruguay, is centered around the Independence Square which is surrounded by Presidential Office, Embassies, Museums, and the famous Palacio Salvo Apartment Building. However its coastline is filled with modern apartment buildings facing Montevideo Bay.
