【七律】歲末·雪花

 

常逢佳日客天涯，偶用冰心鑄素花。

歲末有詩隨雪雁，年終無酒對紅茶。

飄飄灑灑滿寰宇，點點滴滴聚皓沙。

漫步蒼茫無所以，黑衣帶雪好還家。

 

End of the Year, Snow Flowers

 

I often spend holidays

on a faraway land,

among snow or sand.

Crystal hearts,

snow flowers,

not so rare,

but always grand.

 

At the end of the year,

let my new poems fly away

with the snow geese.

At the end of the year,

no wine, only red tea.

What's gonna stay

is my inner peace.

 

Snowflakes flying

up and down,

left and right,

all over the town.

Grain by grain,

bit by bit,

forming a white desert.

 

Wandering in the vastness

needs no purpose,

needs no reason,

as mind gets carried away.

My black clothes

are covered with snow

when I return.
