First of all, I would like to give an update on our I290B filing upon I485 denial decision. We filed I290B on 1/16/25, received I797C mail on 2/15/25, give us a new USCIS account #, access code to encourage us to create an online account to follow the case processing.
Question about this notice: We follow the steps and using the account # and access code, but we can't fully finish the registeration, it always gave error at the end, seems whatever we entered dont match to the online info. We messaged them and hope to get this solved soon.
Today we received another I797C notice with notice content as "We received $800 filing fee". And my bank account shows the $800 filing fee check was cashed. In this notice there is a paragraph asking for G28 form.
"We did not receive a valid Form G-28,Notice of Entry of apperance as Attorney or Accredited Representitive, with your case. If you are already represented or Wish for someone to represent you, please have your attorney or accredited representitive submit f\FOrm G-28online. For more information on filing G-28, please visit uscis.gov/form/..."
My question is: We filed I290B on the behave of my mom herself. (The part 1, petitioner name as my mom's name) we didn;t hire any attorney, what and how should we response to this inqury?
