美國阿波羅宇航員第一次登月後返回地球，從海裏撈出來，送到航空母艦上。美國總統尼克鬆興致勃勃來祝賀。但是由於第一次登上未知的月球，搞不清楚會接觸啥，別帶回來病毒啊怪物啊啥的。出於安全起見，三個人被關在密閉的鐵屋子裏，總統與他們隔著玻璃問候。直到醫生觀察和檢查完畢，認證三人都得到CLEAN BILL OF HEALTH，才放出來。
