Lately, some incidents have really drained me. I work with little kids and often forget that the world is full of complications, jealousy, hypocrisy, and even malice... Most of the time, I know I have to go with the flow because that’s just how survival works in this cruel world. But whenever I can, I’d much rather retreat into my little world—away from the chaos—to recharge and find my balance.
I wrote a song, My Little World, to express my true feelings. I know I can't cry, and I can't hide, but music creates a safe space where I can find peace within.
Wishing you all a worry-free New Year! May you be safe, happy, and have everything go your way!

I have a bad cold and lost my voice, so I can't sing the song myself. But I'd love to share my songwriting draft recording with you. :-)
My Little World
Written & Composed by Aubrey Morrow暮子默

My little world, my comfort zone
Worry-free, but never alone, alone
Good friends surround me with laughter flows
A gentle warmth that always shows
My little world, my sweetest home
Keeps me safe under heaven’s dome, em~
Far from the noise of gossip and lies
I sip my tea and close my eyes
It’s too crazy out there,
Simple things can get complicated
It’s too messy out there,
Being kind just makes me hesitated
Tell me what’s gone so wrong
The big world feels like I don’t belong
I try to be kind, but they string me along
With shadows behind, I must stay strong
Tell me where I can hide
The malice outside leaves no place to confide
The world out there is so big and wide
My little world keeps me safe inside
My little world, a gentle retreat
Where dreams are soft and hearts can beat
Let the big world turn and collide
I’ll stay right here, where the true me resides
I’ll stay right here, where the true me resides, hmm~~
