"the only consensus is there's no consensus" - Cartoonist Chris Wildt
What is consensus? I searched merriam-webster.com this morning and found these:
1-a: general agreement: Unanimity; 1-b: the judgment arrived at by most of those concerned; 2. group solidarity in sentiment and belief
But how about in real life (office politics, tug-of-war, choir, jury decision, etc)? I searched and found three interesting cartoons (== 3000 words):
1.
2.
3.
For some reason, I tend to agree with Chris Wildt: "the only consensus is there's no consensus" .
Note the reason of today's APAD is self-punishment for my mistake done under one WXC blog post (See comments under the two blog posts below):

where I misinterpret word "共識" (== consensus) as "common sense" (==常識), and even gave our APAD link to explain it .
It is no fun to make mistake in public, but it's the best to admit it than to hide it, as "not admitting a mistake is a bigger mistake."- Robert Half
More importantly: I learned and gained knowledge by doing so. A wonderful experience, isn't it?
Wish you all a happy Friday!
