Tian Tian, my charming blue budgie,

Having a gentle and bright nature,

Loving to sing and dance,

Bringing me pure delight.

 

While I'm on my laptop, working hard,

He flies to me and perches with grace,

Gazing at me with eyes so lovely,

Like the most beautiful April sky.

 

He shakes his head to sing for me,

I whisper, "Dear Tian Tian,"

He stops singing, looks right at me,

Our bond remains unbroken, eternally.
