請問 ： In God We Trust 的含義是什麽？

我開始的理解是：基於上帝，我們互相信任。

印在硬幣和紙幣上，表達的意思是，

money is a credit, when you helped me, you are a service provider, and I am a service receiver. I give you the money as a credit; and, at any time, any where, by giving the credit to anybody, you are guaranteed that he will give same amount of service or goods to you, as long as he share the same credit system with us. 

這就是我的理解，互相的信任，

但是最近看wiki, 發現翻譯的都是“我們信任上帝”。

沒有直接表達互信的意思。

我英語語法不行，所以還是請問，到底確切含義是什麽？
