請教一個語調的問題

In return for this, the beggar stood on his head and sang songs. I gave him a meal. He ate the food and drank the beer.

請仔細這句新概念朗讀用的語調，“sang songs”，“drank the beer”，這種語調我們內部稱之為“新概念語調”。

請問這種語調為什麽要把動詞輕讀，而後麵的名詞重讀呢？這種語調在平時生活中見到得多嗎？
