另一個單詞ear的IPA音標好象也有類似狀況。

 

在www.dict.cn上，ear的音標是[iE]，字母E的音標是[i:]

在www.webster.com上，ear的音標是[ir]，字母E的音標是[ē]

 

但是，在www.dictionary.com上，ear的音標是[eer]，字母E的音標是[ee]。bee的音標是[bee]，beer的音標是[beer]。

 

所以說，單詞ear的IPA音標是[iE]，但它的實際發音可能更接近[i:E].
