我能悔約嗎

本人兩個月前簽了一份工作offer letter，定於九月初上班，目前已經填了一些paperwork，還有體檢，backgroud check等. 但現在又收到另一個工作offer，比第一個條件更好，所以我很想接受第二個工作。我可不可以悔掉第一份offer letter？我簽的第一份工作的offer letter上麵說是＂At-Will Eemployment",  "this document does not constitute a contract of employment. Rather, it simply outlines certain complensation and benefits arrangements for you while employed by XXX. You will be employed as an at-will employee, which means you or XXX have the right to terminate your employment at any time, for any reason, with or without notice or cause. "

請問簽了這樣的offer letter,也辦了一些手續(他們有我的個人信息如 SSN, date of birth, address等等 ), 現在又想告訴他們我不去了，會有什麽後果？
