我想投資 mutual fund，請問有什麽事需要特別小心的嗎？

以前隻是 401K 裏的錢隨便放了幾個 mutual fund，現在要投更多的錢，做長期投資，退休用。我不喜歡買房出租，太麻煩了。之所以問這個，是因為看到有人說不要碰 REIT。為什麽？還有其他需要注意的地方嗎？

美國除了 mutual fund 以外，還有什麽比較穩妥的長期投資方式嗎？不知道把所有錢都投到 mutual fund 是不是也是一種風險。
