其實hedge funds 一直都不怎麽樣的。

不知道為什麽投壇和大千常用hedge funds 說事。

hedge funds 怎麽怎麽的。 其實沒有用,還沒有標普好。

Over the past decade, the performance of hedge funds has generally lagged behind the S&P 500 index. From 2011 to 2020, the S&P 500 achieved an average annual return of 14.4%, whereas hedge funds averaged around 5.0% annually. This disparity means that a $100,000 investment in the S&P 500 at the beginning of 2011 would have grown to approximately $364,678 by the end of 2020, compared to about $159,982 if invested in the average hedge fund.

However, some hedge funds have outperformed the broader market. Notably, the top 50 hedge funds collectively surpassed the S&P 500 by over three percentage points over the five years leading up to 2022, achieving this with considerably less risk and a market correlation of just 0.18.

It's important to note that hedge funds employ diverse strategies, often aiming for absolute returns with lower volatility, rather than directly competing with equity indices like the S&P 500. Therefore, direct comparisons may not fully capture the nuances of their performance objectives.

In 2024, hedge funds experienced their strongest and most consistent returns in over a decade, with an average gain of 10.7% after fees, according to PivotalPath's index. This marked the industry's best performance since 2020 and a significant recovery from years of middling returns.

Overall, while the S&P 500 has outperformed hedge funds on average over the past decade, certain hedge funds have delivered superior returns, particularly during periods of market volatility.

啊哈哈哈。 。 。 。 。 。
