我先生不久前, 被一輛撞紅燈的老婦牽連了車禍, 對方負全責, 我先生的車被保險公司評估後, 做了BODY WORK的 repair,但是我先生當時覺得車被撞得很厲害, 希望車可以報銷掉,他說怕是把 FRAME給 撞壞掉, 結果保險公司的評估結果出來後, 隻需要做BODYWORK的修複。 哪知道BODYWORK修完後, 不久車就有了TRANSMISSION漏油的毛病。 在事故前, 我們的車從來就沒有出現過漏油的問題, 是2012 年的 Chevy Cruze. 車被送去修了以後, 取回來不久, 就有了這個漏油的新問題, 電池在取車後的第二天就死掉了, 我和我先生都認為這後繼出現的問題跟車禍有直接的關係。 我們的車很年輕, 買的時候是新車2012 年的車, 不到六歲。 也按時保養了。
我先生三天前給我們自己的保險公司發了郵件 ( 具體郵件內容請見這個貼子的末尾), 沒有收到任何回複, 所以今天早上他又給我們自己保險公司的agent 發了郵件, 到目前為止, 我們還是沒有收到自己保險公司的任何回複,包括那位agent的回複。 目前, 我們自己掏錢租車,因為不願意對已經漏油的車產生一步的損壞,我和我先生的問題是:
1)我們是否應該把車送出去做一個第三方的獨立有效的評估, 看看評估人員可否做出漏油和車禍有直接聯係的鑒定?
2)我們和肇事司機都是買的全保險, 目前我們自己的保險公司對我先生的訴求還沒有任何回複, 我建議我先生在下周一給我們自己的保險公司直接打電話,進行追問。 我個人覺得, 我先生不可以聯係肇事者的保險公司, 而是應該先和我們自己的保險公司先溝通好。 請問, 我這個想法對嗎? 另外, 我們自己的保險公司應該不會一直都不回複我先生的訴求吧?

I am writing you with regards to the Claim no: XXXXXXX
After picking up my car from Premier Automotive on November 8, 2018, one of your Select Service Repair Facilities, I noticed several additional issues with my car.
The day after I picked up my car (November 8, 2018), the car battery completely failed and needed to be replaced. Importantly, I also started to notice a bad smell from the heating/cooling system after the body work had been completed. Because the smell got worse, I sent my car to a local car mechanic on December 26th, 2018 to have it checked. I was told that there are several serious oil leaks, with oil dripping onto the exhaust, and that the transmission is leaking fluid.
My car is only 5 years old and has been well maintained. Prior to the accident, my car did not have any such issue. I am therefore convinced that these additional issues are the result of the accident. I am asking you what is the procedure for me to claim the cost of the repair of these accident-related issues? Right now, I am renting a car from Enterprise for the safety reason.
