這個過程大概是怎麽樣一個流程呢
- After your parent enters US to become a green card holder, you need to contact NVC to express that you want to apply for the immigrant visa by following to join in the US Consulate General Montreal in Canada. Explain why you need to apply for the immigrant visa inn Canada, not in China.
Then, NVC will send you the instructions including the invoice for the payment, required documents, etc. Then, you just follow the instructions to pay the fee, file DS 260, and provide the required documents such as the copy of your birth certificate, I-693 physical exam report, I-864 Affidavit of Support with the support documents, the proof of your legal stay in Canada, the copy of your parent's green card or the endorsed immigrant visa page (i.e., stamped the immigrant visa by the officer at the port of entry when your parent enters US).
