We filed I290B upon the denial of I485 decision, as we were lack of I864 finacial support. We added a new sponser with I864 and mailed the I290B package on 1/16/25, however till today we didn't get any reciept, nor the check is cashed.
So my questions are:
1. How long should we expect to hear back from I290B filing? I guess my question is what we should expect upon processing steps and time.
-Normally it takes about 3 months for Motion to Reopen case, case by case.
2. Will its status be updated to my mom's account on USCIS site?
-Yes, you may check the case status online using your receipt number or call USCIS 1-800-375-5283.
If not, where could we check on its status?
3. If I290B got accepted (approved?), then I485 will be re-processed?
-Yes, your I-485 case processsing will resume/continue after the I-129B is approved.
Does it mean the process time now is I290B processing time+I485 processing time?
