尊敬的八老師，我愛人持B-2簽證，來美三個月後，在9月21日 遞交485，USPS 顯示信件在9日25日已經到達USCIS 位於達拉斯市的信箱(follow to join），但是直到現在，我們還沒有收到485 回執,詢問Emma後，給了一個email 地址，發email詢問，自動回複30個工作日以內答複。
-Normally it takes about 4 to 6 weeks for you to receive the I-485 Receipt Notice. So, it is stilll normal. You can check your bank to see whether the check for the filing fee was cleared/cashed. If yes, then you may find the Receipt Number (i.e., case#) on the back of the cleared check. If you want to contact USCIS, you can provide the Receipt#.
我愛人的Ｉ-94 入境卡顯示有效停留美國是12月18號，等幾天如果我們還沒有收到回執，我們需要遞交I-539 以延長有效停留期嗎？
-No. Do nothing. Your spouse is legal to stay in US now even if the I-94 expires because the I-485 has been filed.
另外，入境時，海關給予的有效停留期限是12月2號，以哪一個為準？
