 理由是現在這個位置本科生就能勝任，為何雇用碩士生。現任雇主說reopen/reconsideration的成功率太低，不給我辦了。

-If you have been laid off from the old employer, then technically, you are out of status now. But if your I-94 from the old H-1 does not expire yet, your presence is not counted as unlawful presence.

如果短期內再找到一份支持H1B的工作，是不是不能在美國境內申請transfer 了, 要回國簽證(H1)？

-Depends. If you have been laid off for > 60 days, then your H-1 transfer approval will have no I-94, and thus you need to go to China to get the H-1 visa to come back. But if your new employer files H-1 transfer within 60 days after you were laid off, then your H-1 transfer approval will have I-94 and thus, you do not need to go to China.

或者現在馬上申請學校讀書，轉F1,要回國簽F1還是可以在美國境內申請轉F1？
-Same principle as the H-1 transfer I explained above, i.e. depends on whether the F-1 application is filed within or more than 60 days after you were laid off.
