FINDINGS: There is focal tear of the anterior articular fibers of the right supraspinatus tendon for around 0.8 cm in background of tendinopathy. The tear measures around 0.7 cm, around 0.4 cm from the insertion. No atrophy of the muscle belly seen Mild tendinopathy of the subscapularis tendon is seen Rest of the rotator cuff tendons appear normal. Soft tissue hyperintensity is seen in the rotator cuff interval with thickening of the axillary band of the inferior glenohumeral ligament- suggestive of adhesive capsulitis. Moderate acromioclavicular arthropathy is seen in form of marrow edema in the acromion and clavicle articular ends. Soft tissue edema, effusion and synovitis is seen around AC joint Mild fluid is seen in the sub-acromial bursa and moderate fluid is seen in the sub-coracoid bursa. Glenohumeral joint show no abnormality. The glenoid labrum appear normal. Neurovascular bundle shows no abnormality. IMPRESSION: 1. Focal tear of the anterior articular fibers of the right supraspinatus tendon in background of tendinopathy 2. Mild tendinopathy of the subscapularis tendon 3. Features of adhesive capsulitis 4. Moderate acromioclavicular arthropathy 5. Mild sub-acromial bursa and moderate sub-coracoid bursitis.
