Thank you so much Teacher 8.
So in conclusion, you don't think i need to file an amendment to H1b while I am still in the USA to tell them I have new nationality?
-Do nothing.
You think I can just go to London, to the US embassy, disclose to them I have a new passport, and I guess they can decide to issue the visa on my British or Chinese passport.
-Just show your British passport and the H-1 approval notice with the support documents, and say nothing unless the IO asks. I don't think the IO will ask anything about your nationality change because it is irrelevant to the H-1 visa application.
If they don't mind issuing the visa on my Chinese passport, then I should just take it? (let's say the IO does not know China doesn't allow dual citizenship).
-Up to you. But in my opinion, I will not suggest you to use the Chinese passport.
Thanks very much again.
