1. 我目前還沒有填寫自己的DS-260，這幾天有朋友建議說，應該在這個時候向NVC申請在美國轉換身份，如果NVC許可了就可以呆在美國填寫I-485。我也是擔心如果不填DS-260會不會被NVC視為自動放棄移民資格。
-No. You are the derivative of your mother, therefore as long as your mother gets her green card, you are qualifed for following to join to get yours either through application for immigrant visa n China or filing I-485 within US if you are not age-out. Only if you mother abandons her immigrant visa application, then all of your family memebers (e.g. you, your father) will not be qualifed for it.

-Do nothing. If NVC ask you to provide your personal application documents and fee for the immigrant visa, you just need to tell NVC that you will file I-485 to adjust status to permanent resident within US. If NVC does not ask you, then you don't need to do anything.
