I understand that your family wish to inherite from your late aunt, but the law is not on your side.
Chinese inheritance law listed the order as such:
1. parents, childrent, spouse
2. sibling, grandparents, grandchildren
when your aunt died without parents and childrent, all her estate went to her hu*****and. From there, your aunt's side of the family, namely you and your uncle lost inheritance right of any estate, unless you can find her certified will that stated that she wish to leave something for your side of the family.
So when your uncle-in-law dies, all his asset will go to his sibling. If his sibling dies before him, it will all go to his sibling's children.
