如果你是加州居民,同時住在加州超過六個月,這是如何處理
In California, you can ask the court for permission to serve divorce papers by publication if you don't know where your spouse or domestic partner is. Service by publication means that you publish the court summons and other required documentation in a local newspaper of general circulation. You will have to pay the newspaper a fee to publish the document.
You can also ask the court for permission to serve by posting.
A publication divorce usually takes 12+ months to complete. You must be a resident of California to file. You must have lived in California for at least 6 months and in the county for at least 3 months.
You can also serve divorce papers in person or by mail.
