車被借，發生車禍該怎麽辦？請教各位了！謝謝

朋友借車犯規發生車禍，不是很嚴重對方的保險杠撞壞了，對方（老黑）把朋友告上法院，說自己肩，背和頭部疼痛，要求賠償。我保對方是$10萬。保險公司已經請了律師案子正在審理中，碰巧最近我看上了一棟房子對方已經接受我的OFFER。我擔心這個案子如果要求賠償太高以後會追究到我的責任，我該不該買這棟房子？或者我該怎麽辦？請好心人指點迷徑！謝謝！！
