Norman, a Christan peacemaker, a hostage by Iraque terrorists, has been rescued by the armed force. This is an amazing news, which turned sore when the rescued man said he did not believe the armed force achieved lasting peace. Britishes are outrageous. They left their angry notes on the BBC noticeboard. They call Norman "stupid""arrogant"and "selfish". They criticised him to be in Iraq in the first place. They blamed him for making "others' life in danger".
Yes, Norman is stupid, not because he went to Iraq in the first place, but because he lost the "common sense", which would chire everyone. If he is smart a little bit, sophisticated a little bit, he would know what all the British like to hear. They like to hear some noble words, like "our armed force is the greatest in the world", like "our servicemen are the breavest in the world". Norman did not say those words, Instead, he kept his principle, by saying the armed force did not achive lasting peace.
This is the truth. At least to Norman.
In a complicated situation, where good and evil mixing, people take their sides. Who knows what is definitely right and what is definitely wrong? People just take their sides, and support what they believe to be right. Because of the sin in the begining, the followers can hardly be completely right. Some using wrongful action to achieve a right goal; some using right action to reach evil purposes. Everyting just tranglled and mixed together. We can hardly tell who is hero and who is criminal.
Normal went to Iraq, against "invasion", which was organised by the multinational forces, including UK. Ironically, he was kidnapped by the Iraque terrorists, who he tries to "help" and "save" by the God's words. More ironically, he was released and rescued by the armed force he blamed in the first place. Norman hate violence. His peacekeeping behavior turns into a victim of violence. However, his life was saved, because of violence.
He must don't know his mission, to save the poor and invaded people from violence, become the begining or another violence. Many other servicemen's lives have been put in danger, because of his peacemaking action. His family-- his wife, his children, his grandchildren-- all have been left in sadness and sorrow, because of him.
I admired him as a man to keep his principle, no matter what has happened.
I accused hims as a man to forget or ignore the security and happiness of ther persons, all for his believing.
