falling in love again

It was a beautiful summer. Much better than last year. Toward the end of the summer when I was on a 7-day vacation, he emailed me while I was away telling me how much he loves me and misses me. I was touched by him again, but this time I was cautious not to be too madly in love like last summer for fear of being hurt. By the end of the summer, his passion cooled down again after I came back from the vacation. In his email he stopped saying he loves me and missed me again. When we make love he stopped saying he loves me as he did in the past few months. What I can do is to let it be. I am not waiting for any result. His confusion might last for life and I want to be patient with him as I do love him deeply and understand his situation.
