今天淩晨從紐約回到波士頓,在回來bus上,聽著剛買的cd, "A time for us" played by Khana Uru, 回想著在紐約的一幕幕景象,情景雖然沒變,但人卻已不在景中。
A pair of innocent youths,
virgin minds and hearts.
Great passion for one another
is how our story starts.
I met her back in college;
she had the sweetest face.
I'd stare into her marvelous eyes
and long for her embrace
Her smile was a beacon,
a shining ray of light.
Bringing passion to my heart,
emotions taking flight.
With the voice of a holy goddess,
and the essence of one too.
She pledged to me her heart
and whispered "I Love You"
It was the happiest day of my life,
when I heard those beautiful words
They echoed through my soul
like the song of freewheeling birds
Life wouldn't be so painful
If things could just remain the same
seeing your loved ones leaving
at the pace of a race
1,2,then 3
So many times I have drowned
in rivers of tears I've cried
I follow their current deep in my heart
to the day that our love died.

November 23
we all share something in common
Some people are selfish
A prisoner of their pride
Some people have problems
And keep their feelings bottled up inside
Some people are cold-blood
never had a drop of tear in their eyes
Some people ignore others
A total jerk for most the time
Some people need to be the center
Of everyones attention
Some people just wont go on
Without another persons affection
Some people are afraid
And live their life in fear
Some people cant be alone
And always need a friend near
Some people are shy
Dont like being seen
Some people are believers
And live their lives in a dream
Yet no matter how different we may be
No difference between glory and shame
There one thing all people have in common
Our hearts all beat the same

Physical Judgement
A story is told about a soldier who was finally coming home after having fought in Vietnam. He called his parents from San Francisco.
"Mom and Dad, I'm coming home, but I've a favor to ask. I have a friend I'd like to bring home with me." "Sure," they replied, "we'd love to meet him."
"There's something you should know," the son continued, "he was hurt pretty badly in the fighting. He stepped on a land mind and lost an arm and a leg.
He has nowhere else to go, and I want him to come live with us."
"I'm sorry to hear that, son. Maybe we can help him find somewhere to live."
"No, Mom and Dad, I want him to live with us."
"Son," said the father, "you don't know what you're asking. Someone with such a handicap would be a terrible burden on us. We have our own lives to live, and we can't let something like this interfere with our lives. I think you should just come home and forget about this guy. He'll find a way to live on his own."
At that point, the son hung up the phone. The parents heard nothing more from him.
A few days later, however, they received a call from the San Francisco police. Their son had died after falling from a building, they were told.
The police believed it was suicide.
The grief-stricken parents flew to San Francisco and were taken to the city morgue to identify the body of their son. They recognized him, but to their horror they also discovered something they didn't know,
their son had only one arm and one leg.
The parents in this story are like many of us. We find it easy to love those who are good-looking or fun to have around, but we don't like people who inconvenience us or make us feel uncomfortable.
We would rather stay away from people who aren't as healthy, beautiful, or smart as we are.
Thankfully, there's someone who won't treat us that way. Someone who loves us with an unconditional love that welcomes us into the forever family, regardless of how messed up we are.
Tonight, before you tuck yourself in for the night, say a little prayer that God will give you the strength you need to accept people as they are, and to help us all be more understanding of those who are different from us!!!
Next time when you meet someone who isnt as fortunate as we are, try helping them instead of staying away, because the little things that you do really mean the world to them, letting them known that they arent forgotten, they are part of our family, and most important they are still God's children.

After watching Coach Carter
"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light , not our darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented and fabulous?
Actually, who are you not to be?
You are a child of god. Your playing small doesn't serve the world. There's nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you.
We were born to make and manifest the glory of god that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others."

I hope you had a good time today
I hope it was lots of fun
Any day you get presents and cake
reminds you the most special one
I just wanted to let you know that you are special
And that I'm always watching over you
That when I say I'm here forever
My words still do ring true
You are an amazing friend
Beautiful on the inside and out
Our friendship will last the test of time
I have absolutely no doubt
Happy birthday angel
One year older and still holding strong
Many more birthdays are yet to come
Before we say so long
Keep your sweet smile my little girl
My angel from above
When you feel like you're alone
Just remember my love surround.

Dear God
A little boy wanted $100 badly and prayed for two weeks but nothing happened.
Then he decided to write God a letter requesting the $100. When the postal authorities received the letter addressed to God, USA, they decided to send it to President Bush.
The President was so impressed, touched, and amused that he instructed his secretary to send the little boy a $5.00 bill.
President Bush thought this would appear to be a lot of money to a little boy.
The little boy was delighted with the $5.00 and sat down to write a thank you note to God, which read:
Dear God,
Thank you very much for sending the money, however, I noticed that for some reason you had to send it through Washington D.C. and, as usual, those crooks deducted $95.00.

Only in America
1. Only in America......can a pizza get to your house faster than an ambulance.
2. Only in America......are there handicap parking places in front of a skating rink.
3. Only in America......do drugstores make the sick walk all the way to the back of the store to get their prescriptions while healthy people can buy cigarettes at the front.
4. Only in America......do people order double cheese burgers, large fries, and a diet Coke.
5. Only in America......do banks leave both doors to the vault open and then chain the pens to the counters.
6. Only in America......do we leave cars worth thousands of dollars in the driveway and put our useless junk in the garage.
7. Only in America......do we use answering machines to screen calls and then have call waiting so we won't miss a call from someone we didn't want to talk to in the first place.
8. Only in America......do we buy hot dogs in packages of ten and buns in packages of eight.
9. Only in America......do we use the word "politics" to describe the process so well: "poli" in Latin meaning "many" and "tics" meaning "bloodsucking creatures."
10. Only in America......do they have drive-up ATM machines with Braille lettering.

Argi-Cows
NORTH AMERICAN CORPORATION: You have two cows. You sell one, and force
the other to produce the milk of four cows. You are surprised when the cow drops dead.
FRENCH: You have two cows. You go on strike because you want three
cows.
JAPANESE: You have two cows. You redesign them to 1/10 the size of
ordinary cows, producing 20 times the milk. You then create clever cow cartoons
called Cowkimon and market them worldwide.
GERMAN: You have two cows, re-engineered so they'll live for 100 years,
eat once a month and milk themselves.
BRITISH: You have two cows. Both are mad.
RUSSIAN: You have two cows. You count them and learn you have five
cows. You count them again and learn you have 42. You count them again and learn
you have 12. You stop counting cows and open another bottle of vodka.
SWISS: You have 5,000 cows. None belongs to you. You charge others for
storing them.
HINDU: You have two cows. You worship them.
CHINESE: You have two cows and 300 people milking them. You claim full
employment, high bovine productivity and arrest the newsman who
questions the numbers.

10-10

Joyful night
Feeling exhausted after hitting two hours of tennis under the rain, lying on bed, typing with my painful hands as I start to appreciate the spirit contained in our tennis group, to be honest, I felt lifted tonight. It was my first time to organize our Friday night tennis at MIT, and I was very disappointed after checking the weather forecast, I almost called it off because it started raining when I left my lab. When I arrived at the courts, seeing you guys playing hard, although only a small crowd showed up, but my spirit got lifted at that moment because I felt not only our enthusiasm in tennis, but also our group spirit. The sky drizzling on us, and the wind was blowing cold, but that didn’t stop us from having a good time, hardcore forehand from Yi, smart play by Mao at the net, and energetic Hang taking on Mao and Echo, you guys have made my day. From now on, I will try my best to make every Friday remaining in this season a joyful night for you, because I know you guys are the best members a club could ever look for.

What if
I know i should be sleeping at this time, but my mind insists on againsting my body's needs. So im stuck here, gazing at the sky from a tiny window, and wondering about things, and imagine how my life would be if i took an alternative path. I know it's pathetic and useless, but i just wanna be stupid dreamer for once....as i stare into a star, the film of my life starts rolling, the memorable moments, the devastating facts, my happiest smiles, my heart-shattering tears, even the long-forgotten frames, and those which i tried so hard to delete, all plays on this infinite background.

All about you
I don't want to lose you,
I don't want to let you go
I just want to hold you
And tell you everything I know.
I know that you're special
Special to me.
I know that I couldn't do without you
And it's you I have to see.
We're not around forever.
That's why I want to tell you now
That you and I where meant to be.
I don't know why it happened, I don't know how.
I just know that now I'm happier,
Than I've ever been before.
Just by thinking of you,
Makes me love you even more.
So sit still,
And hold me tight.
Tell me that you love me,
And everything will be alright.
Tell me we'll grow old together
And slip at the same time.
One moment without you,
You be a moment of sheer crime.

Amour Amour, a mystery
Love is a funny word
it has four letters
and one syllable
it has a thousand meanings
but only one definition
it can make you feel at the top of the world
and it can bring you down to the lowest pit of grief
sometimes it is the hardest word to pronounce
and sometimes it just slips right off your tongue
it comes with different personalties
and many hairstyles
yet it always comes from the same place
your heart ^_^
Just looked back to my writtings and couldnt even remember when the last time i wrote about love. For those of you who are in a relationship, and constantly worry about the faithfulness and sincerety of your other half, it's because you arent in love. If you really love someone, then you should be carefree.
