[Elliott Wave Theory] 利用2-4 trendline協助label impulse

在Glenn Neely的Mastering Elliott Wave一書的chapter 12,開篇關於channeling有這樣一段話: The importance of Channeling in the decision process is grossly misunderstood or ignored by the majority. 當我嚐試apply channel rule和利用2-4 trendline來協助label impulse wave,很多之前似乎無法清楚label的impulse都得到了更為令人滿意的答案.下麵是我嚐試利用2-4 trendline為2025 4月開始的impulse進行label.在進行lower degree label的時候,盡量follow price degree rule stated here: https://studyofcycles.blogspot.com/2024/07/paraphrase-neely-on-five-most-common.html

根據Neely的channel rule,每一個impulse結束後,2-4 trendline都要在比wave 5形成的更短時間內被有效突破.根據這個原則,我們可以更容易確定潛在的2-4 trendline並以此推斷impulse的subdivision.

另一個協助impulse label的工具是EWO,應該是類似MACD.在hourly的EWO裏,通常能夠比較容易辨認出EWO的相對峰值會出現在一個impulse的extension wave.下圖中的兩個例子,EWO的相對峰值出現在我label的wave 3和wave 1 extension.wave 1 extension出現在一個higher degree的wave 5裏麵.這個峰值就比higher degree的wave 3 extension的峰值小.但是讓我不太滿意的是這個higher degree的wave 5隻比wave 3的長度略短.這個似乎不太符合Neely的impulse extension rule.但是目前似乎想不到更好的label可以解釋.

我之前對6/23開始的wave 5 impulse一直找不到滿意的subdivision劃分.最近嚐試利用2-4 trendline定位後,結合EWO,找到一個比較滿意的wave 1 extension的label group.而sub wave 1的subdivision也是一個wave 1 extension的impulse,而且沒有violate price degree rule.也能夠解釋為什麽EWO相對峰值出現在impulse的wave 1階段.
