Years of waiting

becomes iron burned on an anvil

 

Seconds of waiting

can also be purgatorial

 

Adding two together

            it freezes me to coral

 

Around the coral

            ripples twist and swirl

 

Thoughts ride in a rollercoaster

climb and fall between the heaven and the hell

 

Every cell of the harden body

           Craves for a responding bell

 

The poor waiting heart

            has been burned into the ashes on a time-grill

           for a trust, for a dream, and a love above all

 

等待—Chinese

 

漫長的等待

          是一種煉焦

片刻的等待

          卻也是煉獄之極

 

兩種加起來

          化你成一尊礁石

礁石縫下

          泛著無數漣漪

 

念頭如過山車

          一忽上天一忽落地

而等卻之心

          已焦化在時間的灰裏

珊瑚礁の周りには

漣（さざなみ）がぐるぐると逆巻く

 

ローラーコースターに乗っている思いは

天に上がったり地に落ちたりする

待つ心は

時間の灰に焼き盡くされそうである
