糖是許多化學分子的組合通稱,比如葡萄糖,蔗糖,果糖等等。葡萄糖是細胞的燃料,直接參與細胞的代謝,算是及其重要的營養。蔗糖是雙糖,每個蔗糖分子含有一個葡萄糖和一個果糖。果糖才是問題所在。果糖不能被細胞使用,不參與代謝,而是需要經過肝髒轉化成甘油三酯和肝糖脂肪儲存起來,待葡萄糖用光之後再由肝髒轉化成葡萄糖給細胞使用。這個過程浪費大量的代謝能量造成胰島素抵抗,高尿酸和二型糖尿病。以美國為代表的全球食品工業不但使用蔗糖而更喜歡加入成本更低的高果糖玉米糖漿(high fructose corn syrup), 造成全民糖尿病和高尿酸。高果糖玉米糖漿成本隻有蔗糖的三分之一,而且非常容易在水或液體中溶解,降低生產成本。 食品工業才是真正的健康殺手!且看美國的工業集團們,食品工業領頭製造健康問題,帶動醫療和保險的高價,然後是製藥工業來用高價的胰島素和最新減肥或糖尿病藥再賺一手。倒黴的還不是普通老百姓呀!
