退伍軍人的尊嚴

星期天 ，玩《華爾街日報》的論壇，跟了個俄烏戰爭的評論，延申到中美台海局勢, 史學大家Kotkin的看法

 

You are not that far off about his view of war with China over Taiwan.

 

He even used a rather provocative word "incinerate", as in context "China incinerate America" in one of his YouTube talks.

 

Real life or Realism, the "silly balloon with freight cars size camera" flew over ICBM silo, B2 bomber airbase, Kansas City, Columbia, St.Louis, towards Washington along I-70. That changed some people's mind, not necessarily all from state of Missouri.

  以後不再英文論壇上討論這個話題了。哪些個邪惡政客要毀滅這個世界，保家衛國的軍人何辜。

   

  Kotkin 是蘇俄史大家。他在講話中談到中國把整個美國燒成灰，當然不是亂說。當年有個退伍軍人用一倆搬家皮卡的化肥，炸平了俄克拉荷馬州的聯邦大樓。他們當然知道拜登口中的“兩節車皮重載的傻逼氣球”飛臨聖路易意味什麽。

   

  拜登一上任，就秘密駐軍台灣，然後慢慢公開，溫水煮青蛙，一定要中美軍事攤牌，結果聖路易氣球，一翻兩瞪眼。

   

  中美關係回不去了。Kotkin 講話是對一個退休投資俱樂部說的，說的含蓄，意思一點也不含蓄：中國可以把整個美國燒成灰，退休賬戶算個屁。
