I am very special

The world says that I am just so-so

You told me that I am very special

There is a special job in the kingdom

Only I can hold

 

The world says that I am just ordinary

You told me that I am very individual

There is a place in Your holy heart

Only I can dwell

 

The world says that I am just poor

You told me that I am very substantial

There are treasures in heaven for me

Only I can draw

 

I am not wise by human standard

Not of noble birth and not influential

Yet You chose and made me a royal priesthood

And a person anointed by Your oil

To the one who identifies lowly me from above - Thank You
