今天是老二第一天去高中上學。晚了差不多兩年。
一早六點起床吃飯。七點正,背著書包,拿著小號,戴著帽子從家裏出發。氣溫零下兩度,前幾天下的雪還沒化,戴著紅帽的雪人還在路邊。路上車輛不少,靠近學校時車越來越多。老二雖然考了駕照,但沒有停車位,今年秋天他可以申請學校停車位。
上次去學校上學老二還是初三學生。上了兩年網課,學生基本都不開視頻,所以也沒有認識什麽新同學。自從去年六月打了疫苗,就申請換成去學校。但學區早有安排,一直到最近才有消息。得知消息我是進退維穀。去吧,新冠變異病毒防不勝防。不去吧,高中四年也過一半。先生建議去。我勸孩子再等等。一是可以多睡會,二是可以吃好吃的午餐,三是時間自主安排,四是疫情還是很糟糕。雖然我理由多,但孩子覺得還是去好。
從未想過有一天,去學校上學還要權衡利弊和投票表決。

The health and safety of our students and staff are our top priority. This letter informs you that an individual in a class with your child has tested positive for COVID-19. The last known date of exposure at school was Wednesday, January 19, 2022.
Due to confidentiality laws and respect for privacy, we cannot release the individual’s name.
After exposure to an individual who is COVID-19 positive, it is important to monitor your child daily for any signs or symptoms. Those symptoms may include:
Fever or chills
Cough
Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
Fatigue
Muscle or body aches
Headache
New loss of taste or smell
Sore throat
Congestion or runny nose
Nausea or vomiting
Diarrhea
If your student develops COVID-like symptoms or becomes sick, you should contact a healthcare provider so that you or your child can be evaluated and get tested immediately. It is also recommended that individuals who are exposed to a positive case seek testing 5-7 days after exposure. More information about the symptoms of COVID-19 are available on the CDC’s website here. Information about public COVID-19 testing locations near you can be found here. Because the virus can still be spread person-to-person, please keep children who are sick at home. Don’t send them to school.
