Wheat on the threshing field

 

May aims at its target, plummets straight from the sky

Falls off the clouds after many dreams

Lands in the golden yellow that means survival

 

Father flips piles of wheat once again

-the moist core must be exposed straight to sun shine

Thus wheat doesn’t mold throughout winter

Afterwards, he pinches off one grain of wheat

Just one bite with his heart

Then moon light flows throughout the land

 

If I swim in wheat on this threshing field

All the minute and trivial will be washed off

Along with all the adjectives describing emotions

But I fear that my bones are not hard enough

To tolerate such golden yellow.

五月看準了地方，從天空垂直打下 

做了許久的夢墜下雲端 

落在生存的金黃裏 

 

父親又翻了一遍麥子 

——內心的潮濕必須對準陽光 

這樣的麥子才配得上一冬不發黴 

翻完以後，他掐起一粒麥子 

用心一咬 

便流出了一地月光 

 

如果在這一打穀場的麥子裏遊一次泳 

一定會洗掉身上的細枝末節 

和抒情裏所有的形容詞 

怕隻怕我並不堅硬的骨頭 

承受不起這樣的金黃色
