Elizabeth Hurley puts on a busty display in skintight pencil dress as she gets to work promoting the second series of The Royals

She's gearing up for the release of the second season of his E! Series The Royals.

But Elizabeth Hurley sported a look that no doubt would have sent the Royal Family's eyebrows raising when she stepped out at the Today Show in New York City on Tuesday.

The 50-year-old star was sure to turn heads in a fitted cobalt pencil dress which boasted a low-cut neckline that ensured her ample assets were the main attraction.

The British actress once again defied the years in the skintight number, which she paired with nude stilettos and a small clutch bag in a matching hue.

Her brunette locks were worn in glamorous waves, while her stunning face was partly concealed beneath a pair of over-sized sunglasses - an unusual choice given that the weather was drizzle and grey.

Despite the dreary climes however, the Bedazzled actress made sure to stop and sign photos for the eager fans surrounding her.

Speaking about the new season of The Royals on the morning television show, Elizabeth quipped that she believes the real British Royal Family are avid viewers of the series.

Asked what she thought the real royals would think of the show, she replied: 'I hope they watch this and they think "God, I wish that were me."

'We haven't had any feedback about whether they see it but my feeling is, they all watch it!'

Her latest glamorous outing comes just a short while after the British beauty turned up the heat once again when she sported a see-through top to the NYC premiere of the show's second season.

The glamorous British star teamed her saucy top-half with raunchy black leather trousers and vertiginous strappy heels.

Looking remarkably line-free, she capped the look with some flattering make-up and a smokey kohl-lined eye.

The brunette beauty wore her voluminous hair in a centre-parting giving way to gentle waves, and added some giant dangling earrings.

The mum-of-one appears to have barely aged since she became famous for wearing that safety pin dress to the Four Weddings And A Funeral premiere in Los Angeles more than 20 years ago, alongside then-boyfriend Hugh Grant.

She took to Twitter on Monday to give fans an insight into her busy schedule, which shows her promoting the return of her smash-hit show.

Clearly exhausted from a long day, she snapped a selfie at 9.30pm which showed already her crashed out in bed.
