2016-144 命裏浮沉

這幾天在讀Fall of the giants，上千頁的書，不同國家不同階層人物命運的浮浮沉沉。在一戰和二戰的大背景下，民生維艱，生活和愛情都成了奢侈品。大廈將傾，百姓如螻蟻四散奔逃。

每一小節的精華都在最後一小段，精彩之上嘎然而止。讀這樣一本書，仿佛站在高處俯視芸芸眾生：前一頁還愛的翻雲覆雨的人們，後一頁就已經要各奔東西，仔細算算這愛也不過兩三個月而已。人們東奔西突，在大時代的浪潮裏謀求活路。

樂生等孩子們睡了，上樓來和我聊了聊《悲慘世界》，不同的社會和曆史背景，同樣顛沛流離的人物命運。共同點就是底層百姓在麵對困境時的果斷、堅強和愛。有很多段落深深的打動人心。他說：推薦你看一看。

後記1：第二天在豆瓣上買了《悲慘世界》，順便搜了一下中譯本哪個更好。最後買了李丹、方於的譯本，因為這對夫婦一生顛沛流離，為了這套譯本窮其一生，很是應了悲慘世界的主旋律。李丹去世之後，方於接力參考李丹的翻譯風格完成了第五卷的翻譯。每一本巨著的翻譯都多多少少打上了譯者的烙印。

後記2：今天小犇兒學校Harvest festival，四年級的學生唱了一首歌，很是符合Fall of the Giants的主題：離家千萬裏，家人，愛人都在心裏卻又遙不可及。
