Think of Me

The Phantom of the Opera is coming to the Kennedy Center of Performing Arts. Tickets in hand, the wait has seemed so long already. Now I regret that I never went into the Paris Opera even though I stayed in a hotel just a few blocks away from it many years ago, and dined once in a restaurant right next to it. And, every time I listen to this song, I regret that I failed to think of someone as asked by her and promised by me. The disapointment in her clear deep blue eyes made a deep impression upon me, and the lapse of 19 years has hardly served to weaken the effect. But I am glad that I didn't lie.
