那年暑假，事情發生得比預料中的要快，結婚的事被提到日程上來了。我去看了一個在當地結婚的大學同學，順便打聽了如何辦理結婚手續。
之後就開始實施計劃了。因為是夏天，西服上裝留在了學校宿舍沒帶來，我想就穿長袖襯衫打領帶和正式西裝褲去市政廳登記了。她嫂子說這樣顯得太隨便，怎麽也得穿件西服吧（為這事我很感激她，關鍵時刻點撥了我一下）。我們趕緊去Mall裏買了一套深藏青色的西服。
去市政廳辦完結婚儀式後，就去超市買食品，準備在後院BBQ。邀了幾個好朋友來聚一聚，怕大家破費，事先都沒提結婚的事。我那大學同學夫婦也來了，還帶了瓶香檳。他的先知先覺讓我很有些驚訝，他說他們大約猜出是怎麽回事了。。。好感動。
沒有婚紗禮服，也沒有婚宴，終身大事就這麽簡單辦了。我父母心裏一直覺得過意不去，希望我們在國內補辦一次。可是她不喜歡在陌生人堆裏應酬，最後也就不了了之了。
哎，一晃好多年過去了。還記得那條街名叫 Inniswood，還有那年夏天瓦藍瓦藍的天空。。。
