People should have pet or not

I think people should have pets, I think so because some kids don't have siblings and they might get longly. Pets help teach kids responsibility. It is not hard to take care of pet, you just need some food and water. Pets are really playful. If you're alone, they can keep you company. Pets are just like humans, though I think pets are funnier and cuter. People should have pets.
