“Walk a little slower,Daddy said a child so small.

I'm following in your footsteps and I don't want to fall.

Sometimes your steps are very fast.

Sometimes they're hard to see.

So walk a little slower, Daddy.

For you are leadimg me.

Someday when I'm all grown up.

Then I'll have a little child

Who'll want to follow me.

爹地且緩行，女兒難從容。

前路坑坑窪，常恐四腳橫。

爹地莫疾行，隱約望背影。

大人行路處，亦步亦趨從。

女兒會長大，寸步丈天涯。

我將為人母，續寫爺家話。

爹地請慢行，小手大手中。

兒生爺已老，白發燃塔燈。
