Around the Maritimes in 21 Days (7) Day 8/9 - Cape Enrage, Moncton water park, Magic hill, Shediac, and Confederation Bridge

第 8 日 - 狂怒角,水公園

三天前到狂怒角的時候, 用iphone的Planets定位了日出的方向和時間. 想象著朝陽撒在燈塔上的景象, 心中不禁暗暗期待.

清晨的狂怒角, 靜靜的空無一人. 朝陽從對岸Nova Scotia的地平線緩緩升起, 迷蒙的光線仿佛觸手可及. 這是這次旅行中唯一的一次獨自行動. 全家出遊, 攝影的興趣隻有放一放了.

第 9 日 - 魔術山,龍蝦鎮,PEI跨海大橋

Moncton NB to Cornwall PEI 車程2至3小時. 經過魔術山,龍蝦鎮,PEI跨海大橋.

明知道所謂的魔術山不過是視覺的錯位而已, 我們還是糾根問底地拿出足球一試. 結果是... 足球向山下滾, 汽車向山上滑...

Farmers living to the north west of Moncton had known for decades that the strange little road on the foothills of Lutes Mountain played tricks on the unwary. Ever since the area had been settled in the early 1800’s, there were recurring stories of wagons running up on the hells of startled horses and of barrels and bales of dry goods rolling mysteriously “uphill”!

朋友強烈推薦龍蝦鎮Shediac的這一家龍蝦批發店(261 Main Street, Shediac, NB). 我們在這裏批發了三隻一磅多的冷凍熟龍蝦, $22.90 (有發票為證). 店員看我們帶了冰箱來, 還送了一大袋冰塊.

Shediac, a self-proclaimed lobster capital, is a busy summer beach town and home of annual July lobster fest. Don't fail to have your picture taken with the 'World's Largest Lobster' sculpture - you can't miss it!

PEI跨海大橋(Confederation Bridge)橋長12.9公裏.是最長的跨越冰海的大橋.

The Confederation Bridge joins the eastern Canadian provinces of Prince Edward Island and New Brunswick, making travel throughout the Maritimes easy and convenient. The curved, 12.9 kilometre (8 mile) long bridge is the longest in the world crossing ice-covered water.
